A Walk With Shannan

Hello you lovely lot!!!

A couple of weeks ago I had a visit at uni by my fantabulous friend Shannan from http://www.sunshinebutterfliesandbooks.blogspot.co.uk/. Check out her blog if you haven't already, its fabulous!!!

We decided while Shannan was at my uni we would make the most of the beautiful countryside we had around us and go for a walk, take some pictures etc.

So here are a collection of the photos we took and considering I'm not exactly the next award winning photographer (is that a thing? It is now), I thought I didn't do too badly :)

So there you go :) This is where my uni is located :) Have a lovely week and I'll speak to you again next Sunday!!!

Valentines Day

Hello you lovely lot!!!

So this valentines I was able to go to my boyfriends and can stay here for the next week as it is reading week for uni which means we have no lessons :) Unfortunately we didn't manage to do anything on valentines day other than give each other our cards and gifts as my boyfriend was at work but we are going for a meal tomorrow night :)

As for the gifts I received, I was well and truly spoilt!!! I got 6 books, 6!!! and a blue nose friend teddy. I collect blue nose friend teddies so that is another one to add to my collection and its a Narwhal called Nelson!!! :D

The books I received were Anne of Green Gables by L. M. Montgomery, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass by Lewis Carroll, Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen, Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte, Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, and Little Women by Louisa May Alcott. I have been wanting to read some classics for ages and so I am so grateful to have received them and not only are they classics but all apart from Anne of Green Gables is a Penguin Clothbound Classic!!!

I have a blog specifically for book reviews so if you want to check that out here is the link: http://thatswhaticallabookreview.blogspot.co.uk/

Here is a look at the presents I received :)

Also here is the gorgeous card I received :)

I hope you all enjoyed valentines day whether you had a valentine or not, yes you don't need a valentine, spending valentines day with family and friends is another lovely way to spend the day :) But if you did have a valentine then I hope the two of you had a wonderful day :)

Speak to you soon!!!

Would You Rather

(I do not hold credit for this image)

Hello Lovely People of the Internet!!!

Today I thought I would make a Would You Rather Tag. If you want to use this after me then feel free :)

These are just a collection of different questions I have gathered from the internet.

So here we go!!!

1. Would you Rather: Walk on the moon or visit the bottom of the ocean?
Definitely visit the moon. I can't think of anything worse than being underwater for that amount of time whether I could breathe or not!!!

2. Would you Rather: Drive a really nice car or have a gorgeous home?
Have a gorgeous home :) I can't wait to get my own place. I've already been looking at things to buy for when I do move out. The thought of turning a blank canvas into something I can call home sounds so cosy!!!

3. Would you Rather: Go a year without television or books?
Television. I read sooo much!!! And books allow you to create your own world in your head, its not there in front of your face destroying your imagination!!! If you want to check out my book review blog then here is the link: http://thatswhaticallabookreview.blogspot.co.uk/

4. Would you Rather: Lose your sense of taste and smell or all of your hair?
Now this one I actually find quite difficult because of how much hair I have. Put it this way, I have a huge amount of hair!!! But I think I would rather not have my hair than not have my sense of smell and taste. If I was to lose my hair for one reason or another I would donate it as I have enough hair for probably 2 wigs not just one :)

5. Would you Rather: Have one wish granted today or 3 wishes granted in 10 years?
I would rather have 1 wish granted today as I would wish for wishes whenever I wanted them for all the years I'm alive :D

6. Would you Rather: Visit 100 years in the past or 100 years in the future?
In the past. I'm really interested in how different people's lives were in the past and I would much rather find out what the future will be like when it happens because I'm genuinely quite scared of the future so seeing it in advance would terrify me.

7. Would you Rather: Be poor and work at a job you love you be rich and work at a job you hate?
Be poor and work at a job I love. I have always said this. Although money can make things easier, there are other things that can make you happy :) And happiness is more important than things being easy in my opinion :)

8. Would you Rather: Be a dragon or have a dragon?
Have a dragon. How cool would that be!!! I could have my very own Toothless from How to Train Your Dragon!!!

9. Would you Rather: Live in the Harry Potter universe or the Pokemon universe?
Harry Potter universe!!! I love Harry Potter!!! I have loads of Harry Potter merchandise and I'm going to the studios in London in April :D

10. Would you Rather: Have feet for hands or hands for feet?
Have hands for feet I think. You can't see your feet most of the time so I think I would prefer that option :)

So that's my Would You Rather Tag!!! Feel free to answer these questions yourself as I would love to know other people's answers and why  and either leave them in the comments or if you have your own blog and post it to there then attach the link in the comments below :)

Speak to you soon!!!

January 2015 Favourites

Hello you fabulous people!!!

Today, as it is now February, I would like to share with you some of the things I have been loving in the month of January. Can I just mention...how quick has January gone?!?!?

So lets get started!!!

Favourite Book

Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell

I absolutely loved this book and gave it 5* on Goodreads. I got so attached to the characters that when it ended the first thing I thought was - I need a novella!!!

Favourite Tea

PG Tips -  Delicate Camomile

This year I have decided to try out lots of different teas and this was January's favourite. It makes me feel so relaxed after a long day. I just can't get enough of it!!!

Favourite Beauty Products

1. Zoella - Creamy Madly Deeply

I've heard a lot of reviews of this product and one of the most common things that has crept up is that it has no distinct smell. I completely disagree!!! To me, it smells of aftersun and reminds me of being in Spain :) It makes me skin feel so soft after a shower and I feel super fresh.

2. Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish

Although this is slightly pricey, I would definitely recommend this product as it lasts such a long time and it has really helped my skin (I have seriously problematic skin). You can get these products for all skin types so there is something for everyone. I also bought this product off QVC as their prices don't make as much of a dig at your bank account and they have lots more variations of product combinations you can get :)

Favourite Clothing Item

Boots - New Look

These boots are just so comfortable and at a price of £28 (£23 on student discount) you can't go wrong!!! I have worn them none stop since I bought them. I just can't keep them off my feet!!!

Favourite Candle

Yankee Candle - Apple Cider

If you read my 50 Facts About Me post you will know that I have a serious obsession for candles. I have so many!!! But my favourite candle this month has to be Yankee Candle's Apple Cider. This is actually an American Candle, they aren't sold in UK shops, but my boyfriend's lovely mum let my boyfriend buy it from her for me for Christmas as I had smelt it in their house and completely fell in love with it.

So these are my January Favourites :) Let me know what you have been loving in the month of January in the comments below :)
