Halloween Ideas

Image from Google

Hello Everyone!!!

Sorry for the lack of post week. I was travelling and didn't get the chance to write a post. Today I thought I would give you some ideas for Halloween, whether that be decorations, costumes, food etc. I haven't actually got prepared for Halloween yet but I'm so excited to get dressed up!!!

So as I have just mentioned getting dressed up, I might as well go onto costume ideas!!! There are so many things you can dress up as, sometimes you just don't know where to start. For me personally, I think about what I love about Halloween and for instance this year, I have decided one of my favourite things about Halloween is the pumpkins. So.....I'm dressing up in my pumpkin dress!!!

This is a picture of me a few years ago wearing this dress.

I just thought this was super cute and have decided to wear it again this year :) I got this from ebay but unfortunately I can't seem to find it now.

Maybe though you want to be a pumpkin but not be in a dress. Well you'll be pleased to know that you can get adult pumpkin costumes in other variations just like the ones below!!!

There are obviously so many other things you can be as well of course such as...

A Skeleton

Or what about a Vampire

But one of the best things for me is seeing the children dressed up. They always look so adorable!!! If you have a child of your own or if you know someone that does, then here are some child costume ideas :)

How cute!!! Of course costumes aren't the only thing you could organise for Halloween though, what about decorations!!!

Here are some images of inspiration I have found :)

I'm sure these would be super easy to make as all you would need is some glass jars, tea lights or LED lights, and some spooky Halloween stickers :)

Again I think these would also be super easy to make as all it is is a pumpkin tea light holder, a tea light, and some pipe cleaners!!!

And I just love how this fire place has been decorated!!! It has everything you really need to make your house ready for Halloween!!!

Now onto Halloween Treats!!!

I'm sure you'll all agree that these look delicious!!! You could also involve your children in the making and decorating of these. They are fantastic for if you are having a house party or even if you are just having a spooky Halloween film night!!! Everyone needs snacks when they are watching a film!!!

Which brings me on to my next Halloween idea. Films!!! These are just a couple of films that I love and are great for the whole family :)

One of my favourite, if not my favourite film to watch on Halloween is Hocus Pocus. If you've not seen this film then where have you been?!?!? It is a Disney film and is super funny and entertaining. The kids will also love it so it's a great one for the whole family :)

Another Disney film I love to watch at Halloween is not necessarily a Halloween film, well it kind of is, but it's also great around Christmas time as well. And that film is The Nightmare Before Christmas. Another one for the whole family!!!

And now onto my final Halloween idea, which is something I do all year round, but is made Halloweeny at this time of year, and that is.....burning candles!!!

Yankee Candle always bring out candles at different times of the year to suit the season. And here are a few they have brought out this year for Halloween.

This is definitely my favourite of the range.

Positive Quotes

Image from Google

Hello Everyone!!!

Over the last 4 weeks I've been poorly and unfortunately I still am. It's nothing serious but it's taking what seems like forever to pass. Because of that it's been making me feel emotionally drained and because I'm not sleeping much at all, I'm exhausted.

So today I decided to post my favourite positive quotes to try make myself feel better and to also make any of you that are feeling a bit rubbish hopefully feel a little bit better as well.

So here is some of my favourite quotes to help you feel more positive.

So there are a few quotes I have come across that I really like and I hope that they make you all smile as well. Of course I had to have a Harry Potter quote in there as well and who could give you better quotes than Albus Dumbledore!!!

So that's all for now and I'll speak to you all next Sunday!!!

September 2015 Favourites

Hello Everyone!!!

It's time for my monthly favourites post!!! I don't have as many favourites this month but what I do have are great!!! So lets get started :)

Favourite Book

The Death Cure by James Dashner

This is the 3rd and final book of The Maze Runner trilogy and what a conclusion to the series it was!!! It made me feel all emotions and broke my heart into a million pieces on a few occasions. A fantastic read and if you want to check out my full review over on my book blog then click here and you will be directed to that :)

Favourite Food

Gluten Free Frozen Bread Buns

Image from Google

Now I really dislike any gluten free bread and I've tried every different one out there as far as I'm aware!!! But when my dad picked these up for me and I tried them I was pleasantly surprised. These taste pretty much like normal toasted bread buns and I can't taste that nasty taste all other gluten free bread seems to have. Result!!!

Favourite Event

Dance Teacher Training

Image from Google

So right at the end of August I began my dance teacher training, working with young children (walking - 4 years approximately). I'm currently helping teach classes such as Street Dance, Ballerinas, and a mixed dance class, but as well as that I also help teach a sports class which involves the children using the different sports equipment. This is a great class as it really helps them with their motor skills. If you want to read more about my training then head over to my dance blog at http://hansdance.blogspot.co.uk/ where you can find my training update posts :)

And I think that's it for my favourites this month. It's a short list but a great one I feel at that :) I hope you've got some fantastic September Favourites and if you do then feel free to tell me about them in the comments below :)

I'll speak to you all next Sunday!!!
